Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter at WPDE-TV which was located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she was an anchor in the morning and a reporter for WCBD TV. Her articles from Charleston, about how the Charleston police dealt with DUI cases in a manner that was lenient, resulted in an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division. This investigation led to a more strict instruction for the state's authorities. Ms. O'Dell won her Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. Following her work in Charleston O'Dell worked as a anchor and investigative reporter at the NBC Miami station WTVJ-TV prior to joining Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor and a weekday reporter. O'Dell is a leading anchor for Access Hollywood. In addition she has contributed to NBC News Today and Dateline NBC. She's reported on The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted various pre-show arrivals shows in preparation for The Emmys And The Golden Globes. Co-hosted also the Miss USA pageant and the Miss Universe pageant.
