Rotary is, however, changed. It is still unclear the way in which our service to humanity will incorporate the highly valued human connection which Rotary members enjoyed in the previous years. The phrase "hands meet in front of each other" will be one of the routines, but it's clear that there's a rising faith and need to be face-to-face with people. Rotary's face has changed. Rotary has evolved. The pandemic has prompted us to enhance our technology methods. We maintain our business on the internet, while introducing a new social and service activity. To create an exciting new future, we've embraced these new opportunities and blended them with the most efficient pre-pandemic practices. In an Rotary survey conducted recently it was encouraging to learn about 75% of clubs had planned their normal events and initiatives that were previously beneficial to communities in Great Britain and Ireland. It is also gratifying to know to see that our Rotary Support Centre staff continues to offer valuable tools which help to promote these projects as well as maintain the infrastructure that keeps people and members safe Compliance and insurance are important We know that volunteering via the community of Rotary will create lasting bonds based by the common experience of volunteering time to serve the community gain. Our members' creativity and ingenuity when finding solutions to some of the toughest challenges is astonishing. I am thankful for the opportunities Rotary gave me with in 2002, to be an active participant. Rotary also has provided me with a great group of people who are like-minded. I am grateful for this.
